Conservation Commission · Meeting of April 21, 2026

Plymouth Conservation Commission approved three major residential projects and opened enforcement action against a Saquish Beach property owner. Vice-Chair Walter Morrison led the 6-0 vote on a negative determination for 200 Herring Pond Road, allowing a single-family dwelling and accessory unit with conditions; approved Orders of Conditions for 57 W Long Pond Road requiring 2-to-1 mitigation plantings and compensatory storage analysis; and issued Orders for a 330-foot stone revetment at 123 Stage Point Road requiring 1,846 cubic yards of sand and three-year vegetation monitoring. Two single-family home applications at 164 Court Street and 136 Scarlet Drive were continued to May 19.

An Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation for 179 Court Street will undergo peer review following public complaints about incomplete wetland flagging. The Commission voted unanimously to send an enforcement state form with fines to the Johnson Gosselin property owners for unauthorized equipment movement and sand placement on the beach.
