PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Conservation Commission approved a railing installation at 130 Lake View Boulevard and continued two Notice of Intent applications. Chair Sean Andersen and the seven-member board voted 7-0 to allow Diane M Grondin to install railings on beach steps without concrete footings. The commission continued permits for a new single-family dwelling at 136 Scarlet Drive and slope stabilization at 123 Stage Point Road to April 21 after flagging the need for detailed mitigation planning and buffer-zone clarification.
The board voted 6-1 to approve a wetland delineation for 56 Loring Boulevard and unanimously approved an amended order of conditions for 50R Lower College Pond Road. Vice-Chair Walter Morrison abstained on the Loring Boulevard vote. The commission also voted unanimously to grant the Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance a three-year permit to continue horseshoe crab monitoring at Long Beach and voted 7-0 to rescind the state's lead on enforcement of a wetland violation at 166 Ellisville Road.
