Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of July 23, 2026

PLYMOUTH — The Community Preservation Committee reorganized July 23, unanimously electing Edward Bradley as Chair, Tim Grandy as Vice Chair, and Len Levin as Clerk. The committee approved $11,505 in invoices and authorized up to $8,000 for an appraisal of 10.5 acres off Island Lake Road. Two major fall applications advanced to August 6 voting: a Buttermilk Bay Coalition conservation purchase of 179 acres for $750,000 and a Downtown Resiliency Phase I project at Depot and Shirley Square Parks requesting $663,000 CPC funding toward a $5.9 million total.

Chair Bradley announced stricter protocols for recording historic restrictions after the committee discovered it had funded $2.9 million in Meetinghouse projects without timely restriction documentation and the applicant is now permitting work that conflicts with prior preservation commitments.
