Plymouth Committee of Precinct Chairs examined revised timelines for the town's budget and warrant processes and reviewed a five-year fiscal forecasting model. Town Manager Derek Brindisi presented updated schedules reflecting recent Charter, Bylaw, and Election date changes. Director of Finance Lynne Barrett introduced Assistant Finance Director Cameron Scott and walked the Committee through revenue projections including property taxes, state aid, and local receipts alongside departmental expenses and other amounts to be raised.
Committee members discussed estimating methodologies, new growth projections, and fiscal cliff avoidance strategies. The Committee approved the amended April 16, 2026 minutes by a vote of 12-0-5 and approved the agenda unanimously. Chair Matt Tavares announced he will not seek re-election, highlighting accomplishments including the Town Meeting Handbook and the Legislative Oversight Committee.
