PLYMOUTH — Committee votes to recommend Community Trust Bylaw restricting police-ICE collaboration. Art Desloges and citizen petitioners from the League of Women Voters and Together We Can advocated for the measure to codify existing police procedures into permanent town law, winning a 9-3-0 recommendation vote with substantial community testimony on public safety concerns. The committee also rescinded its prior approval of the DPW rooftop solar project (10-2-0) due to building renovation timing concerns, while unanimously backing the carport solar project, 40 days of paid military training leave for eight town employees, and the town's $28,492.32 share of seaweed treatment costs.
