PLYMOUTH — The Cedarville Steering Committee unanimously reorganized its leadership, electing Jodie Burkett Chair, Patrice O'Connor Vice Chair, and Julie Fox Clerk. Police Lieutenant Robert Ferguson reported that two new officers will join the department Friday and five recruits are in training at the Academy, bringing the department close to maximum staffing. Scott Hokanson presented a plan to convert the former Bert's Restaurant at 140 Warren Avenue into a Food Truck Park and Event Space under a three-year lease from the Demeter family, with one-third of the property designated for food trucks and a bar, one-third for seating, and one-third for parking.

A sister delegation from Japan will visit the area for five days beginning July 29, staying with local families.
