PLYMOUTH — The Cedarville Steering Committee approved prior minutes and hosted a public forum on a $20 million Massachusetts Department of Transportation project to improve State Road (Route 3A) between Herring Pond Road and Hedges Pond Road. DPW Director Bill Coyle and GPI Engineers presented three design plans for the corridor, which spans from White Cliffs Drive to Shaw's Super Market and encompasses two stop-controlled intersections and Route 3 ramps. Nearly 60 community members provided feedback over more than one hour, with Plan C identified as the more favorable option.

Construction is expected to last at least two years, and Mass DOT will host an additional public meeting in Cedarville this summer.
