Cedarville Steering Committee hosts candidates forum after ethics review

Cedarville Steering Committee · Meeting of April 15, 2026

PLYMOUTH — Cedarville forum addresses Select Board concerns after ethics review. The Cedarville Steering Committee hosted a public candidates forum on April 15 after obtaining written guidance from the Massachusetts Ethics Board that the event would not violate state ethics law, provided the committee did not endorse candidates or permit fundraising. The four Select Board candidates—incumbents Dick Quintal and Kevin Canty, and challengers Betty Cavacco and Scott Vecchi—answered ten prepared questions from approximately 50 South Plymouth residents in attendance.

Questions ranged from affordable housing and municipal staffing to development, fiscal challenges, and government structure.
