Cedarville community mobilizes to restore historic Harlow Farmhouse

PLYMOUTH — Cedarville community mobilizes to restore the 400-year-old Harlow Farmhouse at Ellisville State Park, targeting $1.8 million in renovations. Nancy Mukundan is coordinating formation of a Friends of Ellisville Harbor State Park 501(c)(3) nonprofit to pursue grant funding for the historic property. Local volunteer Jim Bennett has completed extensive exterior work on the 1939 reproduction farmhouse; the committee identified needs for skilled carpentry, electrical, and plumbing volunteers.
With plans and specifications already complete at $110,000, the community is targeting the $1.8 million needed for full renovations and accessibility improvements.
