Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan Citizen Advisory Committee · Meeting of August 17, 2026
Plymouth's Comprehensive Wastewater Management Plan Citizens Advisory Committee debriefed neighborhood meetings and found strong resident interest in sewer connections. Vice Chair Michelle Christensen, attending virtually, summarized the August 6 North Plymouth and August 12 South Plymouth meetings, which revealed resident concerns about bylaw updates, funding options, and use of Redbrook's treatment plant capacity. Residents expressed interest in converting from septic to sewer systems; funding for such conversions is available through a town memo from Lee Hartman.
The committee will post neighborhood meeting notes to the town website. Additional neighborhood meetings are planned for September, including a Manomet meeting on September 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Manomet Elementary.
