PLYMOUTH — Budget Sub-Committee F unanimously backs $133.1M Plymouth schools budget. The committee, chaired by Brian Dunn and including Emily Tompkins, Briana Keating, Molly O'Connor, and Myles Ramey, voted 5-0 to recommend approval of the FY2027 budget, a $4.4 million increase from FY26. Superintendent Chris Campbell's proposal prioritizes maintaining class sizes and student programs despite declining enrollment and rising demand from high-needs students.
The sub-committee also approved separate budgets for Medicaid reimbursement at $340,502 and out-of-district transportation at $69,000. The schools face persistent challenges including the high cost of transportation, growing behavioral and mental health support needs, and state and federal funding uncertainty.
