Visitors Services Board · Meeting of March 17, 2026

Plymouth Visitor Services Board voted to reallocate downtown holiday lighting funding to Brewster Gardens. The board unanimously discontinued future funding requests for downtown pole-light displays and redirected the annual $11,500 allocation toward expanding the Brewster Gardens and Grist Mill holiday lighting program. The board also unanimously approved $6,000 for the Chamber of Commerce Golf Tourism Marketing campaign to promote Plymouth as a golf destination during shoulder and midweek periods.

Parks and Forestry Superintendent Nick Faiella reported the FY26 budget included approximately $8,000 in overtime labor and roughly $1,000 for light strands, with any leftover funds continuing to maintain poles until depletion.
