Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of April 27, 2026

Plymouth Zoning Board unanimously approved a rebuild of a pre-existing nonconforming home. The board granted relief to David and Astrid Hendren on April 27 to demolish their deteriorated one-story residence at 61 Cresent Avenue and construct a new two-story home maintaining the same footprint, with roof overhangs extending nine to 12 inches beyond existing walls. Seven conditions were imposed, including roof drainage controls for on-site stormwater management, erosion control measures, and coordination with the Fire Department and Public Health Department.

The board also determined that upgrades to fire suppression and canopy fascia at 86-88 Sandwich Street constituted an insubstantial modification, and continued the gas station Special Permit case at 360 Cherry Street to May 18, 2026.
