Airport Commission · Meeting of July 2, 2026

Plymouth Airport Commission elected Paul Worcester chairman and Tom Hurley vice chair on July 2, reorganizing under new leadership while deferring major votes. Worcester's appointment passed 4-1-1, with Costello voting no and Worcester abstaining; Hurley's vice chair election was 5-0-1. Acting Manager Brendan Nordahl reported 42 noise complaints in June from 16 complainants, all investigated and found compliant with regulations.

Jeff Adler reported the Gate 3 Taxi Lane project awarded to the Hatch Group and the Runway 6-24 Reconstruction contract to Lawrence Lynch, with work to begin in August and September. Cameron Scott, new Assistant Director of Finance, proposed $25 quarterly sewer rate increases and 15 percent flowage increases, but Chairman Worcester postponed a vote pending a workshop meeting on sewer rates, CPI rent increases, and FY26 budget performance.
