A&F approves $575,000 spending cap increase for Memorial Hall
Advisory & Finance Committee · Meeting of May 13, 2026
Plymouth A&F approves $575,000 Memorial Hall spending cap increase. The committee voted 11-0-1 to approve the increase, raising the cap to $906,290, with $500,000 allocated for envelope sealing, repointing, and masonry repairs to address water intrusion. Recreation Director Anne Slusser-Huff noted that water damage in July 2025 prompted high school relocation of productions, incurring over $30,000 in rental expenses.
Committee member Gail Butler abstained from the vote. The panel also unanimously appointed Christine Richards as 2nd Vice Chair, replacing Emily Tompkins, who resigned for a position at the State House.
